For more than 10 years, DaVinci has stood for premium vaporizers that combine innovative design with medical quality. The DaVinci IQ3 is now the American company's new top model and represents another technological leap forward compared to the older models. It continues DaVinci's "clean-first" claim and, like the smaller IQC, relies on a completely sealed vapor path made of zirconium dioxide and glass for pure, flavorful vapor.
The design of the DaVinci IQ3 is almost exactly the same as the IQC - both have the typical housing shape and the iconic LED matrix that displays the status and temperature. However, the IQ3 is significantly larger than the IQC and offers a little more of everything:
The robust, brushed aluminum housing of the IQ3 vaporizer contains vaporizer technology at its finest. The Cool Core™ flavor chamber is particularly new: its spiral-shaped zirconia core cools the vapor significantly more efficiently - for 50% cooler sessions . In combination with an incredible 70% higher airflow, you can experience smooth and downright refreshing vapor with an incredible volume with the IQ3.
The improved air dial on the bottom allows you to continuously adjust the airflow and thus the draw resistance - a feature that was already available on the IQ2, but not on the IQC. Everything is possible, from light, gentle inhalation to powerful vaping with large clouds.
In terms of setting options, the IQ3 adopts the Precision Mode and Smart Paths from the IQC. The former enables - as the name suggests - precise temperature control in 1-degree increments up to 221°C. Experienced users thus have full control to activate the desired cannabinoids and effects with pinpoint accuracy.
The Smart Path™ mode , on the other hand, offers four preset temperature profiles - "Flavour", "Mind", "Body" and "Rest" - over an 8-minute session, with the temperature increasing by 6°C each time. Simply select the Smart Path you want and enjoy! You can also create your own Smart Paths to suit your individual preferences using the DaVinci app.
Basically, all important functions can be controlled via buttons and the LED matrix plus vibration directly on the device. Additional options are available via the DaVinci Android or web app. A new feature is the ability to control the dosage for a safe vaping experience.
As a dual-use vaporizer, the DaVinci IQ3 is suitable for vaporizing dry herbs , but is also excellent for use with extracts . Both are possible without any additional accessories due to the design of the oven chamber. A stainless steel dosing capsule and an extract kit for filling are already included in the delivery of the IQ3.
The standard accessories also include a 10mm water filter adapter for most commercially available bubblers.
The Li-Ion battery of the IQ3 is easy to change, so you can stock up on spare batteries to ensure you never run out of juice. Charging from 0 to 100 can be done in around 3 hours using USB-C. A special feature of DaVinci is the reverse charging feature , which allows your vaporizer to be used as a power bank for other USB devices.
