The Solo II MAX vaporizer features the characteristic ARIZER design with a stem made of borosilicate glass. Up to 3 grams of herbs are filled directly into the stem and heated there.
The inside of the Solo II MAX does not come into contact with the herbs at all - which makes cleaning and maintaining the device very easy: briefly dip the glass stem in alcohol, rinse, and you're done.
In addition, the stems or glass pods can be pre-loaded and sealed with the included silicone caps, making them very convenient to use on the go. The housing is robust and of very high quality.
The matte surface feels pleasant to the touch and is not very susceptible to fingerprints and scratches. The Solo 2 MAX is comparatively large and heavy for a portable vaporizer, but that is precisely why it is one of the most powerful vaporizers in this category: The battery life is up to 3 hours, so 15 to 20 sessions are easily possible on one battery charge. And your sessions don't have to end when you're plugged into a power outlet, because the device can continue to be used while it's charging.
The power of the ARIZER Solo II MAX is also evident in the heating time: the device is ready for vaping in just 30 seconds. The temperature can be set to the exact degree between 50 and 220°C, so that you can get the most out of your herbs depending on your taste and preference - from soft, aromatic vapor at lower temperatures to maximum extraction and a stronger effect when you increase them.
The setting is very easy using the up/down buttons on the device. The set and current temperature are shown on the OLED display. Both the display and the button logic rotate when you turn the device upside down, e.g. when using it with a water filter (the appropriate 14mm water pipe adapter is included).
First-class vapor quality is a feature of all ARIZER vaporizers. This is ensured by the highly efficient ceramic rapid heating element, which works with a combination of conduction and convection heat. The air and vaporization path is also made entirely of glass, so nothing can distort the taste of the vapor: it remains absolutely pure and aromatic.
You can choose your preferred session time between 5 and 15 minutes - or use the Solo 2 MAX spontaneously on demand by pulling off and closing the glass stem after your puff. There are also various setting options, for example for the display and the signal tones.
